Physical Description: Vadir is an extremely unique and rare breed, only those in his direct bloodline have Saber Tooth Tiger in their genes. Sketches on his size and physical attributes are provided in the preview. His primary colors are brown and shades of tan along with yellow/gold attributes. He is one of the largest creatures since the apocalypse. At the time where they roamed the earth, Saber Tooth Tigers were assumed to reach nearly 1100 pounds. The large creatures, mixed with wolves gave them strength, intelligence and the desire for pack bonding. Vadir has a brown pelt, though different shades of brown highlight different areas. Under his neck, chest, and belly he is dark brown. Along his nose, and the back of his head to his rear end are also a darker shade of brown. His main pelt color, however, is generally a lighter tan. The tiger-like stripes along his back and on his legs are the golden yellow color, making them stand out from his pelt. One distinct feature of the felinexcanine breed is the two large fangs sticking out of his mouth. If the tiger stripes did not give it away that he was a saber tooth tiger breed, the teeth certainly would. He has large paws and enormous/thick claws. He has large, long ears that afford him the ability of being very aware of his surroundings. In addition, he is able to hear the activities of his pack in almost any section of the territory. He has strong forelegs and large shoulders used to shove and knock down opponents in battle.
Personality: Vadir is normally a calm and collective leader. He is intelligent and has been trained by his father and grandfather to be a strong leader. However, he can become violent or aggressive when poked and prodded. Though he normally attempts to keep his reserve, it may be broken if their is any attempt to hurt or inflict any pain upon his family. He is increasingly defensive of his family and pack but will normally allow others to do the fighting if their is an indirect threat to the pack. He isn't scared of fighting, and is actually quite strong, however, generally avoids physical conflict when possible. He is a dominant form of a leader and will require the submission of his subordinates on important occasions. He doesn't appreciate when others do not show him respect and will not back down from a challenge.
History: Vadir was born into a strong, proud family. In his litter, there were two others and he was the youngest. One of them, the female, died when she was fairly young. Only reaching about one year old, she died from simply being weak. She was coddled closed by their mother but eventually sickness took her body and the young saber tooth fell asleep never to wake up again. A sadness took over the pack at her death, because she would have been one of the only female saber tooth tiger hybrids ever born. Vadir, himself was also a hybrid, but being that he was the youngest, was never particularly believed to reign. The oldest sibling was a male, but was a hybrid lion with saber tooth tiger. For this reason, his father viewed him less highly. After the death of his sister, his mother fell into a slight depression. For this reason, Vadir's father attempted to try again. In the second litter, Vadir's mother gave birth to two squealers. One was his brother, and current Gamma male, Kujoy who was born as a lion hybrid. The second was a female, and yet again she died quite young. This time, however, she did not make it past two weeks old. Though this devastated his parents once again, they decided to switch their attention to their now living three boys. Vadir grew up as a middle child for most of his life, giving him the opportunity to meet many of the other hybrids. This was unlike his oldest brother who had to deal with the constant training for the task as Alpha. Vadir's father was strongly linked to tradition, vowing to never go against it. However, he despised that his mutt-like son should take his place over Vadir. And it made this clear to Vadir's older brother. Eventually, however, his brother could take it no more. After a strongly worded discussion when the two sons were in their older adolescence, his older brother left the pack. This, however, did please Vadir's father. His father then began to train him for the alpha position. Unfortunately, his father did not approve of his relationship with another one of the youths, Esmerée. He had grown closer to the snow leopard hybrid with the leisure time, but his father knew that the rare hybrid was known for being infertile, something that was unacceptable. As he grew older, he took Esmeree as his mate, against his father's wishes because of the blessing his grandfather gave him. This kept his father quiet. The night after his induction as Alpha, he tried to mate with Esmeree but only resulted months later in a miscarriage. After two more tries, and simply more still births and miscarriages, Vadir's grandfather died. With this certainty in the female's infertility, Vadir's father forced him to give her up, for their bloodline and the pack itself. Thus, Vadir gave his old mate the placement of Delta, and forced more closely on the role of running the pack. The Crimson Tide pack began to pose problems for them, leading him into his first fledged war with the pack. Setting his brother, Kujoy, as Gamma and leader of his warriors, he traveled into battle with them since they were pressuring their borders. He lost his father in battle, though it renewed his loyalty and faith in his younger brother. He became well known to the Crimson Tide pack for the injuries he caused towards their leader and his strength in battle. Upon returning home, he met Meshla. Feeling she would be a more than suitable mate, and certainly a strong alpha female, he mated with her. He is now running the pack with what he believes to be the most loyal leaders in the land. Protecting the borders and strengthening his members in preparation of what is to come.
